Chemult RFPD provides fire protection to our constituents in our Fire district boundaries. Chemult Fire Department also provides EMS services, known as an Ambulance Service Area (ASA). The ambulance ASA extends north on Hwy 97 to mm 194 and south to mm 229. The ASA also run west on Hwy 58 to the Halfway house and west on Hwy 138 up to the county line. The ASA also extends east on Silver Lake Hwy to mm 35.

       Chemult RFPD also provides mutual aide to our surrounding agencies, Crescent Fire, Central Cascades Fire, Outback Fire, Silver Lake Fire and Chiloquin Fire. Chemult RFPD also has a Fire/EMS mutual aide agreement with Douglas Fire District #2.

Chemult RFPD also provides mutual aide as a first attack on wild land fires for ODF, BLM, and Walker Range.
